Steven Solomon wins Bronze Medal in Barcelona!
A happy evening in Barca at the World Junior Championships!
Steven Solomon won the Bronze medal in a dead heat for third needing a photo finish. “He was drawn lane 8, a tough ask. He ran a magnificant first 200 then the lactic started. His final lunge resulted in a 45-52 (PB) and photo finish for the bronze. He is extatic!” says Michael Solomon, Stevens father.
“Santos ran 44.8 amazing runner. The Americans were always going to be hard to beat and the aussie snuck in.”
The 4 x 400 relay heats on Saturday night!
On behalf of everyone from Maccabi Australia, Congratulations and Good Luck Steve! You deserve it!
