Tenpin Superleague: Excitement in the air
Week 13 had Barstein in first place with 79 points (with a pinfall of 14,455). Phoenix Rising finished second on 79 points (with a Pinfall of 13,775), while Bowlariffic finished third on 76 points.
The top games played had Anthony Houston bowled a 184 game with a series of 443, John Storey bowled a 169 game with a series of 435, Andrew Drylie bowled a 162 game with a series of 368, and Fiona Rothman bowled a 136 game with a series of 316.
Week 14 again had the same three teams in the top places. Barstein was in first place with 87 points (with a pinfall of 15,686), Phoenix Rising was in second place with 87 points (with a pinfall of 14,837), and Bowlariffic was in third place with 77 points. During week 14, there were only three high-scoring games: Ari Baram’s 192 with a series of 517 and Fiona Rothman’s 139 and 134 with a series of 362.
Week 15 saw a slight change in the top rankings. Phoenix Rising moved up from second to first on 94 points, while Barstein went down to second on 91 points and Bowlariffic remained in third place on 87 points. Just three good games were played during Week 15. Deidre Libbert had a 164 game with a 429 series, and Fiona Rothman had a 123 game with a 298 series.
Week 16 again saw some changes to the top rankings. Barstein returned to first place with 100 points, Phoenix Rising went down to second place with 97 points, and Bowlariffic remained in third place with 95 points. During week 16, a number of great high score games were played. Louis Gutierrez bowed a 204 game with a 522* series, Howard Baram bowed two great games, a 202 and a 192, with a 527 series, Ari Baram bowed an 182 game with a 463 series, and Michael Eisenstein bowed a 412. Week 16 saw Barstein return to first place with 100 points, while Phoenix Rising went back to second place with 97 points.
