Now Hiring: Youth and Community Manager (Full-Time)

• Overseeing camps and school engagement
• Facilitating and managing social sports
• Initiating and managing social sport events (e.g. gala days, rock climbing, kayaking, running groups etc)
• Growing community engagement, particularly in the young adults demographic (e.g arranging leadership programs)

Key Objectives for this Position:
• Define a vision and strategic direction for the role and focus areas
• The Youth Leaders and volunteers are well organised and engaged with consistent
involvement opportunities
• Camps are well planned and delivered
• Camps demonstrate growth in number of attendees and outreach engagement
• Smooth and efficient support service to Social Sports
• Appropriate, timely and effective assistance to team/carnival managers in preparing for
Junior Carnival

Desired Skills & Experience:
• Positive attitude and willingness to engage the youth leaders
• Highly organised and pro-active in approach (shows initiative)
• An effective communicator
• Is outputs-focused and can work autonomously
• Has an analytical and strategic mind to solve problems and improve efficiencies
• Competent IT/computer skills; familiarity with MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint)
• Previous youth leader or coaching experience would be advantageous
• Experience with organising/running small-medium events (an advantage)
• Previous involvement in and familiarity with Maccabi (an advantage)
