Maccabi Toastmasters Honour Abby Levy, Glen Eira Local Hero
On Wednesday 9 November Maccabi Toastmasters presented long-time member, Abby Levy, a Certificate of Congratulations and Achievement.
This was in honour of Abby’s receipt of a Glen Eira Local Hero Award which Abby received for her outstanding volunteer work with senior members of our community.
Abby leads a team of volunteers who prepare and run regular educational programs on diverse topics at local aged care facilities. Her focus is on creating social inclusion, spiritual connections and community leadership.
Toastmasters International was formed to encourage its members to improve their speaking and leadership skills. We at Maccabi Toastmasters are so proud to see how Abby has utilised these skills to make such a wonderful contribution to the local community. Congratulations Abby!
