Maccabi Table Tennis Season Updates
Top ranked players and awards for the season:
- The leading boys player: Oliver Trapler, and second ranked Joel Liberman
- The leading girls player: Lyla Dubs, and second ranked Nechama Wainstein
- Most improved player: Dylan Simkin
- Coaches Award: Josh Sutton
The new season for Juniors has started for Term 4 with both boys & girls competing and receiving coaching.
The Table Tennis Victoria Pennant Season 3 is nearing finals with two Maccabi teams well and truly in finals contention.
The Division 3 team of Rohan Woolf, Mark Levin & Andrew Shostak are currently placed 3rd on the ladder and unable to miss finals. The team is capable of winning the competition after recently defeating the top team of Melbourne Uni. Rohan has had an outstanding season with a 14-1 record and currently rated the second highest player in the league.
The Division 5 team of Boris Burd, Les Lesman & John Cukier are currently top of the ladder and the clear favourite to win the competition. Both Boris (16-2) & Les (14-4) are the top 2 ranked players for the league.
