2023 Maccabi VIC Club Registrations Now Open

It’s back to school and back to sports!

Time to gear up for a new sports season with Maccabi! From hockey to soccer, footy to tenpin bowling, and cricket, there’s something for everyone. Here’s a rundown of the latest information and updates on each sport.

HOCKEY: 60+, teams U12, U14, U16, Seniors & Masters – stick your way to success with ‘come-try-days’ starting in late February and training beginning in March 2023, register your interest at machockey.com.au.

HOCKEY WOMEN: Maccabi Hockey Women’s team are running a recruitment drive on 19 Feb at 10.30am – Give Ariana a call at 0408558998 to learn more and join the winning team.

SOCCER WOMEN: Pre-season training for Women State League 1 at Caulfield Park will be held every Tuesday and Thursday 7 – 8.30pm. Get your game face on and join us at https://www.maccabiwomensfootball.com.au.

TENPIN BOWLING: Bowl your way to a strike in 2023! Join us for our reformation meeting (welcoming past & new members) on Tuesday 28th February 2023 – 8pm at Zone Bowling Moorabbin.

We will be running a doubles league from March to September with weekly competition at Zone Bowling Moorabbin on Tuesday nights at 8.15pm. Our league is handicapped, so the competition is fair for all.

ATHLETICS: There will be plenty of competitions for athletes over the next 3 months – AVSL rounds 8, 9, 10 and the play offs, specialist milers meets, throwers, jumps and sprints meets and the state track and field championships followed by the national championships. TENNIS: The Maccabi Tennis Club is gearing up for another exciting season and we want you to join the fun. With membership now due and payable for the 2023 calendar year for all juniors, students, and Pennant players, it’s the perfect time to hit the court and show off your skills. TABLE TENNIS: Term 1 begins Monday 6 February. Playing days will be every Monday & Thursday. Juniors start at 5:30pm until 7pm which contains both coaching and competition play. All others can enjoy coaching & social play from 5:30pm with competition matches at 7:30pm until 9pm.
