New Knights enjoy top start
CONGRATULATIONS to Maccabi NSW Basketball Club’s U14 Knights boys, who came away with a great 39-27 victory in division 3 last Saturday in the opening game of the City of Sydney Basketball Association’s 2023 term one junior season. Best of all, it was their very first match together as a team, and a local derby against the Maccabi Thunder. In U14 boys’ division 2, the Maccabi Warriors enjoyed a comprehensive 61-36 win over Inner City. Well done, and good luck in round two! Meanwhile, round one of the Easts junior comp begins this Sunday.
