Meet Nicki Taitz – Maccabi NSW All Abilities Manager
Nicki has 17 years of experience working in the disability sphere with many different roles and challenges accepted along the way. The disability sphere has certainly changed within this period with advocacy and inclusion coming leaps and bounds from when she first started out. It makes her proud to engage within such an amazing community that understands and appreciates this important work.
Nicki has 3 children that have enjoyed what Maccabi NSW clubs have to offer and looks forward to making these opportunities available to the All Abilities community.
What excites you about joining the Maccabi family?
I am particularly excited to have the opportunity to expand the range of sporting and recreational opportunities offered to the All Abilities community. I am also looking forward to offer engagement opportunities with the many Maccabi NSW clubs, with the aim of enhancing their capacity to involve people of All Abilities in mainstream sports and social activities.
I will be focusing
on enhancing awareness of inclusiveness throughout Maccabi and the wider community.
My love and passions to health, fitness ,sports and inclusivity, alongside my knowledge and expertise within the All Abilities community will contribute to a happier healthier lifestyle for people living with a disability.
Where can we find you in your free-time?
I love spending time at the gym or playing tennis. I am always eager to try something new – recently I was introduced to Pickle, which is becoming a new favourite. I also love travelling, experiencing new cultures and food along the way.
My family and friends are really important to me and I cherish every minute I spend with them.
