Maccabi Ajax Senior Cricket Club: Pre-Season Incoming!

The scent of freshly mown grass, the unmistakable sound of a cricket ball meeting the bat – yes, pre-season is almost here, and it promises to be one for the books. Before diving into the much-awaited dates, let’s unwrap some significant updates from Maccabi Ajax Senior Cricket Club.

Spotlight on the New Coach: Stef Lindstrom  Big news on the pitch! Stef Lindstrom has been appointed as the new head coach. With an impressive background as a District cricket player and years of coaching experience at various clubs, the excitement for the expertise and passion Stef brings to the field is palpable.

Committee Shuffle: Acknowledgments & Welcomes! Michael Gersun, Jono Baruch and Josh Jenshal have stepped down from the committee. Mike was instrumental in getting the All Abilities off the ground, and is determined to see its continued success. He was also the main driver and organiser of the annual Friday night Cricket club dinner, and has confirmed he will still be involved, while Jono was a key driver of standards (and a lot more) during the Covid era.

The baton now passes to fresh faces: A hearty welcome to Andrew Rotstein and Bailey Melzak. Their fresh perspectives and energy are eagerly anticipated for the 23/24 season.

  • Aug 2 – 8pm
  • Aug 7 – 8pm
  • Aug 15 – 8pm
  • Aug 22 – 8pm
  • Aug 29 – 9pm
  • Sep 6 – 9pm

Caulfield Park Nets:

  • Sep 3 – 10am
  • Sep 10 – 10am
  • Sep 17 – 10am
