DESCRIPTION:What is Maccabi Mega Camp?\n\nMaccabi Mega Camp is a sports and activities school holiday day camp for Jewish children in years 3-6.\nA selection of sports will be offered (basketball\, soccer\, netball\, and more)\, which will take place from the morning until lunch. This will be followed by social activities such as laser tag and the like (final details TBC). \nMega Camp 2022 is a collaboration of Maccabi NSW and Maccabi clubs. \n\n  \nREGISTER HERE (Hurry! The Early Bird rate ends on 29th August)\n  \n\nWhen is MegaCamp – Spring 2022?\nStarts – Wednesday\, 28 September\nEnds – Friday\, 30 September \n9.00am – 3.00pm each day \n  \nWho is MegaCamp for? \nKids in years 3\, 4\, 5 or 6 (split into two groups 3-4/5-6) from across the Sydney Jewish community. \n  \nCost \n\nCost covers participation in all sports and social activities. This is in addition to sports injury insurance and a provided morning tea. \nSibling discounts – an additional 10% discount from your total fee. Please register siblings separately. \nFYI – You can also use your Parents NSW vouchers. \nIt is Maccabi’s policy that no child should miss out due to financial difficulties. Fee assistance is available\, please contact Maccabi NSW General Manager\, Ori Danieli for a confidential discussion – gm.nsw@maccabi.com.au / 0405 328 577 \n\n  \nREGISTER HERE \n  \n\nDress Code \nAll participants need to dress in sports clothes\, wear sneakers and also bring equipment appropriate to their sport.\nColoured bibs will be provided for sports games.\n \nLocation \nEastern Suburbs – Moriah College \nAn excursion for one-afternoon activity TBD. \n  \nWill there be transportation? \nParents will be required to organise their own drop-off and pick-up. Transportation from the North (Masada College) to the East and back will be offered at a subsidised rate and pending numbers. \nWill this event be COVID safe? \nYes\, all activities during MegaCamp will be Covid-safe\, adhering to NSW Health guidelines & safety policies. Social distancing will be promoted and limits set on the number of people gathering in groups across designated areas in any given facility. Hand sanitiser will be provided at all events. \nWe will also make RAT tests available for free use. \n  \nSecurity & Medical \nSecurity – The security and health of all participants is our top priority. All event security will be worked through with CSG. \nFirst aid – There will be a designated First Aid officer at all events. \nHot weather policy – If conditions are deemed unsafe\, sports will be called off and kids will be supervised in an appropriate/cool environment. \nFood \nChildren will need to bring their own lunch (veg or kosher). Kosher snacks will be provided for morning tea and water will be readily available throughout the day. \nAll Abilities \nWe welcome kids of all abilities! Let us know if your child needs any extra support and we will work with you to understand more and accommodate them. \n  \nParent Involvement  \nYES!! We rely on parents to volunteer and help out with the events. Due to COVID safety plans\, there is a cap on how many participants we can have. Registrations will close once that number is reached. So you better hurry!!! \nCovid-19 Refund Policy \nIn the event that Covid restrictions result in MegaCamp not being able to take place\, a full refund will be provided (excluding a small admin fee of ~$10.
