NSW Tenpin: 2022 Standings and Record – Week 15, Season 1 2022

With just 2 rounds left in season one, the leader board has tightened right up. Oldies are still leading the way out in front on 95 points. Swannies have continued to close the gap, now moving up into second place on 90 with School Daze only 3 points further back on 87.

Manis Manis recorded a 9-2 win over The Incredibles. For The Incredibles, Ricky Kremer bowled one over an average game of 123 (6 over avg) while Dina Kremer bowled two games over average including a nice 113 (28 over avg) in the second. For Manis Manis, Lilik Passman bowled two nice games of 133 & 143 (10 & 20 over avg) while David Passman bowled a 191 (20 over avg) in the second game to help take the win.

Swannies won 8-0 over School Daze. Despite only one over avg game across both teams this week, Ronnie Lang for the Swannies was a model of consistency with a pair of 199s. Justin Kennedy bowled the only over average game in the match but it was the Star Bowler of the Week – Game, an outstanding 247 (53 over avg), to help set up the win.

The Mighty Underdogs and Oldies played out a 5-5 draw. For The Mighty Underdogs, Natai Hanouka bowled a nice pair of games of 212 & 214 (25 & 27 over avg) while Ari Baram bowled a nice 172 (18 over avg) in the second. For Oldies, Patricia Levy was consistent with one over average game while Raymond Meinrath was also consistent with a very nice 146 (20 over avg) in the last to help take the last game and share the points.

Let’s Roll recorded a 9-1 win over Two Can Tango. For Let’s Roll, Danny Hough bowled two over average games with a 130 in the first (9 over avg) his best while Alexander Itzkowitz bowled two nice games in the first and third of 124 & 127 (23 & 26 over avg). For Two Can Tango, Tomer Aston on his own bowled a nice 135 (15 over avg) in the first.

Schmootz won a 7-3 game over Rolling Stones. For Schmootz, Harry Sussman bowled a 143 in the last (11 over avg) while Peter Israelski bowled a good 171 (14 over avg) in the second game but then stepped it up with a great 206 (49 over avg) in the last game which also helped him share the Star Bowler of the Week – Series with a 535 which was 64 pins over average. For Rolling Stones, Brian Doobov on his own bowled a couple of nice games of 171 & 159 (21 & 9 over avg).

Blue Heelers were bowling their blind scores this week and took 8 points. Michael Eisenstein bowled a great series of 481 which was 64 pins over average and shared the Star Bowler of the Week – Series this week. It included 3 over average games of 145, 149 & 187 (6, 10 & 48 over avg).

Highland Warriors and Bubba Zeida played out an exciting 6-5 match in favour of the Warriors. Despite Bubba Zeida only winning the first game and only by 13 pins, they still managed to win the series by 6 pins, that’s how close all three games were. For Highland Warriors, Howard Silver bowled two nice games of 152 & 144 (15 & 7 over avg), while Peter Jablonka bowled a nice 181 (18 over avg) in the first. For Bubba Zeida, Steve Cohen bowled two nice games of 114 & 116 (17 & 19 over avg) and Phillip Levy bowled a great 178 (20 over avg) in the first to help win the overall.

The Lads won a good 7-3 match over Mean Machine. For The Lads, Roy Zurnamer bowled two nice games of 115 & 98 (36 & 19 over avg), while for Mean Machine, Myer Zamek bowled a nice 169 (19 over avg) in the second game.
