Maccabi NSW - Hall of Fame

Maccabi NSW is excited to announce that nominations are now open for induction to the 6th Maccabi NSW Hall of Fame!

Since 1999, Maccabi NSW has hosted its prestigious Hall of Fame awards every four to seven years, celebrating Jewish athletes and sports administrators for their outstanding contributions to sport.

The 2025 induction is especially significant as it coincides with Maccabi’s centenary celebrations. Inductees will be formally recognised at our major Centenary Gala and Hall of Fame event in November 2025.

Nominations are open in the following two categories:

🔹 Sportsperson
🔹 Administrators/Coaches/Support Personnel (Administrator)

Nominations close at COB on Wednesday, 30 April 2025.

The Sportsperson award celebrates outstanding Jewish athletes who have excelled in their chosen sport while residing in NSW (or spending the majority of their life in NSW).

The Administrators award recognises individuals who have contributed significantly to the performance of NSW based athletes or to the development and status of Maccabi, Open Sport, or Disabled Sport.

Members should have made a major contribution to their sport or to sport in general, either within Maccabi or at the broader open level.
