Pan Am Preparations and an Exclusive Josh Giddey Signed Jersey

On the 25th of June, Maccabi Australia hosted a star-studded event packed with icons from the world of basketball, all with a singular focus: supporting the teams set to represent Australia in the Maccabi Pan American Games in Buenos Aires this December.

The evening was highlighted by guest speakers, NBA star Josh Giddey, his father and former NBL star Warrick Giddey, and US-based player agent Daniel Moldovan, who offered unique insights into the world of professional basketball.

Each panellist showed their commitment to Maccabi Australia’s basketball teams, making personal donations. Notably, Giddey, the 20-year-old Australian Boomers player and NBA sensation, excitedly spoke about his anticipation of playing for the Boomers in the 2023 FIBA men’s world championships in Japan.

However, the event was not just about celebrating basketball and building excitement for the upcoming games. It was also about fundraising for a fantastic cause. And here’s where you can help make a difference!

To support Maccabi Australia’s campaign, a fundraising raffle has been launched. And guess what? The prize is not just another raffle reward. It’s a unique, exclusive Team AUS jersey, signed by none other than Josh Giddey himself! This jersey, created especially for Maccabi Australia, is unframed and ready to be the pride of your sports memorabilia collection.

But hurry, as only 120 tickets are available for sale, creating an exciting and exclusive opportunity! The raffle will be open until July 31 at 6:54pm, with the drawing date set for July 31 at 7:00pm AEDT.

This raffle is not just about winning a coveted jersey; it’s about supporting a team of dedicated athletes heading to the Maccabi Pan American Games to represent Australia. Your participation can contribute to making their journey a reality.
