Table Tennis Season Comes To A Close

Table Tennis Victoria season 2 at MSAC has officially come to a close.The Division 3 team of Rohan Woolf, Mark Levin, Andrew Shostak & Darren Breitenfeld made the Grand Final after a come from behind victory in the Preliminary Final against last years premiers St.Kilda.
The Grand Final was against Melbourne University who were undefeated all season. Maccabi fought hard but ended up losing 3 matches to 5.
Rohan was ranked 2nd player for the season with a 22-6 win loss record, with Mark Levin & Darren Breitenfeld ranked 4th & 5th respectively.
Next season Maccabi will have 7 teams competing in the Table Tennis Victoria Pennant, across all divisions.

The Junior Table Tennis Term has come to an end with 20 kids competing at various stages. This was our first full term of juniors playing at the club every Monday evening. The kids all enjoyed coaching, social play & competition.
The following players were the standouts:
- Overall Boys Champion – Oliver Trapler
- Runners Up Boys – Joel Liberman
- Overall Girls Champion – Lyla Dubs
- Runners Up Girls – Nechama Wainstein
- Most Improved Player – Dylan Simkin
