Anyone who has made a significant and lasting contribution to Maccabi Victoria through sport, leadership or service.
This includes athletes, coaches, volunteers, administrators and others who have had a meaningful impact.
Nominations can be submitted by anyone, including members of the public, clubs, or the Maccabi Victoria Board.
To be eligible, nominees must:
- Be a Jewish Victorian
- Have demonstrated integrity, good character and sportsmanship
- Have made a significant and lasting contribution over time
- Have a genuine connection to Maccabi Victoria
Yes.
Nominees must have a clear and genuine connection to Maccabi, either through direct involvement or through broader sporting achievements alongside their involvement with Maccabi.
Yes.
Nominations can be made both during a person’s lifetime and posthumously.
Inductions are typically held every five years.
Up to 10 individuals may be inducted in each cycle.
Yes.
However, if a nominee has been considered three times without new supporting information, they may no longer be eligible for future nomination.
‘Legend’ is a special category within the Hall of Fame.
It recognises individuals who have made an exceptional, long-term impact and left a lasting legacy in sport and the Maccabi community.
