Biography

When Alexandra had just turned 16, she set a new benchmark in rhythmic gymnastics by being the youngest gymnastics team member at the 2018 Commonwealth Games, where she became a dual bronze medalist. She won every Australian competition at the uppermost Senior International level from 2018. At the Australian Senior International Championships in 2018 and 2019, she won four and then five national titles respectively, becoming Australia’s top representative at seven World Cups and two World Championships, ranking number one in Oceania. She also won gold, silver, and bronze medals at the 2020 Berlin International Masters Tournament, establishing herself as one of the best-performing rhythmic gymnasts in Australian sporting history.

Intensive training sessions in Baku, Azerbaijan, prepared Alexandra for the 2022 Birmingham Commonwealth Games, where she collected gold in clubs, silver in the team event, and bronze in the individual event. In the same year, she competed at the 2022 Maccabiah Games, winning five bronze medals. In May 2024, she competed at the European Championships in Budapest, which also served as the Oceania Championships, and won the all-around title, securing the Oceania qualification berth for Paris 2024.
