Commemorating Greg Small – Tenpin Bowling
Greg Small was part of the Maccabi NSW Tenpin Bowling Club until 1997. He represented Australia in the Maccabiah Games when the devastating bridge disaster occurred, killing him and many others. His memory is deeply rooted in the club that has been around for and incredible 60 years next year.
To honour Greg, the Maccabi NSW Tenpin Bowling Club hosts an annual tournament. This year it will be on Monday 28th of November at the Manhattan Bowling Centre in Botany – their home court. Greg’s son Josh will be competing. The tournament currently have over 80 participants registered and this continues to grow! With prizes, food and top class Bowling, it will be a night to remember.
Howard Silver, Club President, shares how Greg’s “flame has never gone out and we want to keep it going for eternity.”
