Maccabi NSW Head Coach makes full recovery!

Sylvester Wilson is a force to be recognised. Our basketball club is at an all time high, with over 400 members – its success could not have been achieved without the dedication, professionalism and commitment of a dedicated team of volunteers and professionals led by its Head Coach, Sylvester.

Recently, Sylvester became very ill and was admitted to hospital undergoing keyhole brain surgery to practically save his life.

Being the warrior that he is and despite the seriousness of the circumstance, Sly made a phenomenal recovery making it out of hospital within two weeks of his surgery!
He has now returned to his role with the club, leading and inspiring our young athletes and coaches.
