Ready for the finals
Three Maccabi teams have qualified for the upcoming season one finals series in the MSAC Table Tennis Pennant competition.
- The Maccabi Division 1 Team of David Segal & Brian Tesler had an incredible season. The Maccabi guys ended up on top of the ladder, undefeated for the season. This is the highest grade you can play at MSAC Pennant. The next team was 3 games behind. David Segal had a 16-0 record and was the leading player for the Division.
- The Maccabi Division 2 Team of Yori Bargil & Mark Freedman ended up 2nd on the ladder. They will play in a Semi Final this week against the 3rd placed team.
- The Maccabi Division 3 Team of Dean Frenkel, Mark Levin & Darren Breitenfeld won their last 4 matches to make the finals and finish 3rd on the ladder. Along the way they defeated the top 2 teams and have a great chance of incredibly winning the Division. It is going to be very difficult but the team will heavily rely on Dean Frenkel who ended up the 2nd leading player for the Division with a 17-7 record.
