In men’s division 2, the Maccabi Warriors had a 79-101 loss to Sherbrooke.
Benji Tamir top-scored with 27 points, including three 3-pointers, and Idan Shamis chipped in with 16 points.
They now have a 4-6 win/loss record after 10 of 18 rounds.
In the men’s youth league 2, Maccabi are coming 12th of 18 teams, following a narrow 66-72 loss on May 26 to the Albury Wodonga Bandits.
Highlights for Maccabi were Jared Gansky’s 23 points, Adam Shuster’s 18 points, and Guy Chalfon’s 12 rebounds, two steals and one block.
