Maccabi Junior Basketball
FOUR Maccabi NSW Basketball Club teams played in City of Sydney junior semi-finals last Saturday, with three earning grand final spots. The Maccabi Thunder (pictured) won their U16 boys division 4 semi by 40-27 against the Big DreamWolves. In U16 boys division 4, the Maccabi Warriors edged Harbour City 42-35 in their semi and the Maccabi Dream also advanced in U18 girls division 1, after a convincing 35-16 victory over the Inner City Jets, keeping their championship dream alive. The Maccabi Rockets bowed out in U18 boys division 3 semis, but will be better for the experience.
