Job Overview:
Maccabi Victoria is seeking a dynamic and creative Social Media Content Creator to join our marketing team. This role is ideal for a student with a passion for sports and social media, looking for a flexible job that fits around their studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for capturing engaging video content at training sessions, matches, and games, primarily during evenings and weekends. This content will be used across our social media platforms, including Instagram and TikTok, to boost our online presence and engage our community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend Maccabi Club events, training sessions, and matches to capture high-quality content.
- Create engaging and innovative content tailored to our target audience, leveraging current social media trends.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Officer to develop creative content strategies that align with our marketing goals.
- Monitor social media trends and audience preferences to suggest improvements for content strategy.
Requirements:
- Strong familiarity with social media platforms, particularly Instagram and TikTok.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to interact with people during video interviews and content creation.
- Creative mindset with the ability to produce engaging content that resonates with our target demographic.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating initiative and problem-solving skills.
- Passion for sports and a good understanding of the Jewish and Maccabi sporting community.
- Availability to work during evenings and weekends at various Maccabi Club locations.
- Owns a smartphone with good quality camera (gimbal, tripod, selfie ring light, and wireless cavalier microphones will be provided).
- Own transport.
- Working With Children’s Check (WWCC) and police check (or willing to attain one).
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
- Prior experience in content creation or social media management is preferred but not required.
