The Table Tennis Club have multiple pennant teams at MSAC.
The Division 1 team of Paul Bronstein, Herman Pekel and Jonas Torstensson are currently ranked 3rd and well positioned to play finals.
The Division 2 team of Dean Frenkel, Jack Cyngler, Mark Freedman & Sam Parasol are currently ranked 4th and only 1 win from making finals.
The Division 3 team of Rohan Woolf, Mark Levin & Andrew Shostak are currently 3rd and guaranteed finals.
Paul Bronstein has been rewarded as the Captain of the Men’s Over 65 Victorian State Team. The team also consists of Mikhail Geller.
Henry Patishman has been selected in the Men’s Over 40s Victorian State Team.
Michelle Wise has been selected for the Women’s Over 60s Victorian State Team.
The Table Tennis Club had Shamir Freedman & Yori Bargil represent Australia at the recent Maccabiah 2022 Games. Both performed exceptionally well, with Yori bringing home a bronze medal.
The Junior Table Tennis players have had a great start to the season with 17 kids from all ages competing together. Every Monday evening, the kids have coaching and round robin competition. Lyla Dubs, Oliver Lewis, Raphy Lenko, Ethan Goldman, Nechama Wainstein and Joel Liberman are the leading players so far for the competition.
