The Year That Was 2024 – AJAX Senior Football Club
In 2024, AJAX fielded six teams across the Football Club (over 160 players): Senior Men, Reserves, Women, Saturday Thirds, Sunday Thirds (a Shabbat-observant team), and All Stars All Abilities. We are very proud of all six teams and the way they represented our Club and Community.
All four of our men’s teams competed in finals: Saturday Thirds Division 2 South in the elimination final, the Sunday Thirds Division 1 team reaching a Preliminary Final, Seniors playing in finals for the first time since 2019, and the Reserves playing in the Grand Final, losing by 39 points after being minor premiers for the season. Our All Stars team played for the second year in the FIDA League, and this program was undoubtedly one of the highlights for the Club and all involved. For more on the season results, click here.
