Maccabi Junior Football – A spirited comeback
WHAT a brilliant team effort by Maccabi-Hakoah’s U16 Lions boys (pictured) – who play in the U18 Easts competition – in round 5 last Sunday at Coral Sea Park, against Maroubra. In a courageous comeback win against older players, the Maccabi boys fought back from being 3 goals down early, to prevail 4-3. Ryan Hirschowitz scored a brace, and David Miller and Jayden Finucane scored a goal each. It was the latter’s first goal this season, and couldn’t have come at a better time. Source: AJN
