Welcome to the Maccabi Women in Sports Campaign, where we celebrate the incredible achievements and contributions of women in our Maccabi community. We are thrilled to launch this campaign to recognise and honour exceptional female athletes, coaches, volunteers, team managers and board members who are making a difference in our sporting community.
Launching in the week of International Women’s Day, a particularly meaningful time to reflect on progress made, to call for change, and to celebrate acts of courage and determination by ordinary women who have played an extraordinary role in the history of their countries and communities.
Our Maccabi female sporting trailblazers have accomplished amazing things, from winning championships and breaking records to coaching, volunteering, and serving on club boards. These women hope to inspire and motivate others to get involved in sports, pursue leadership roles, and break down barriers and stereotypes that prevent women from achieving their full potential.
