The Athletics Victoria Shield League (AVSL) enters its 5th week
The Athletics Victoria Shield League (AVSL) enters its 5th week and was held at Casey Fields. The AVSL is Athletics Victoria’s summer track and field competition.
Although a summer competition last weekend’s events were held under a threatening sky and in very windy conditions.
Despite the challenging weather, 13 year old Keira Donner, produced a great pb in the 200m (29.08) having already run the 800m against buffeting winds. Ian Revale again earned many points in the shot put (13.52m).
Next week there is no AVSL – so the 6th round will be held on 3rd December at Yarra Ranges and Doncaster.
