Maccabi Golf Kleid Gordon Championship
The 2025 Kleid Gordon golf event was held at Cranbourne Golf Club on Sunday 23 February. The large field of 72 golfers participated on a perfect day for golf.
The event is played annually and is named after Phil Kleid and Jeff Gordon, two pioneers of Jewish golf in Victoria.
The overall winner was Tim Katzen with a fantastic score of 44 points, followed by Darren Seidle on 39 points. In 3rd place was Benjamin Lewis who scored 38 points and was 3 over par being the low round of the day. Benjamin is 11 years old and plays off a 4 handicap, a true star in the making.
The Division winners were:
A Grade – Ian Rubenstein
B Grade – Richard Lew
C Grade – Myra Goldman
The leading women player on the day was defending champion, Nicole Musiker with a score of 36 points.
A big thank you to the club’s sponsors, Brighton BMW who provided the 1st prize winner with a Callaway Golf Bag and Global Trophies who provided the trophies.
